Any time my father bought my mom flowers – he would always buy her yellow roses. Yellow roses indicate friendship – and she was his best friend.
My dad died 8 years ago.
My mom wore a yellow corsage to his funeral and he wore a yellow Boutonniere.
A few years later I married Rick. We placed a yellow bouquet of roses on the altar in my dad’s memory. Mom carried a yellow bouquet of roses as a symbol of her love for him.
Today is their anniversary so, we sent mom a bouquet of yellow roses.
All of this reminded me how lucky I am to have my husband. This necklace was a wedding gift from Rick. It matches my wedding ring. I love my wedding ring. And I love my husband – (almost 2 years!)

I realize once one makes the decision to develop serious skills in photography… it makes it harder and harder to take self-portraits. Why? you become more critical of composition, color, resolution, etc etc.. more technical… and looking at yourself with these in mind – makes it harder to find the best shot in one click. You need several. And that usually takes time.
I need to figure out more places and ways to get creative with my 365 days. My bathroom situation is getting tired. Hehe. "situation".. Hi Felicia!
